In partnership with the Serre-Ponçon Tourist Office and in direct connection with the beach lifeguards, here is the weather at the beaches of Lac de Serre-Ponçon for this summer 2026.
From the north of the water body to the south shores, seven beaches have been set up and are supervised to welcome locals and tourists in the best conditions this summer: Balneotherapy facilities, supervision by lifeguards, refreshment stands, rentals of pedal boats or canoes / kayaks / paddles, restrooms, shaded areas...
In the Hautes-Alpes and the Alpes de Haute Provence, Lac de Serre-Ponçon offers a real seaside alternative, with, in addition, magnificent scenery and alpine coolness.
27 hectares dedicated to water and sports activities. The Embrun water body is a must-see site and slightly set back from the lake itself, which gives it advantages. Many activities are offered there in summer.
It is located below the RN94 between Savines and Embrun. Easy to access, therefore, and equipped with many facilities such as a refreshment stand, restrooms, a pier for diving, PMR equipment (tiralo) and, of course, a lifeguard station so you can swim there safely.
It is the emblematic postcard of Lac de Serre-Ponçon: Pommiers Beach is located in the bay and of the chapel on the Saint-Michel islet. It is a large swimming spot, with a secure area, but also the possibility of renting light boats to set off on an adventure and get close to this chapel.
It is an ideal place to disconnect and enjoy this majestic setting. Trémouilles Beach in the Chanteloube bay has all the equipment needed to enjoy it, at everyone's own pace, for a day at the beach and by the water.
Located in the heart of the village of Savines-le-Lac, it is a well-equipped beach and very easy to access, including therefore when you don't have a vehicle.
Located in the south-east part of the lake, this beach offers a special setting at the foot of the massif that plunges into the lake. An ideal starting point for nautical strolls along the rocks.
A swimming spot that has been extensively redeveloped in recent months: Ubaye Plage is also a nautical base with a multitude of activities offered, on land as well as on the lake.
