Here is the weather of the beaches of the four towns of the West Var: Saint-Cyr-sur-Mer with the Lecques and La Madrague, Bandol, Sanary-sur-Mer and Six-Fours-les-Plages for this summer 2026: Every day, find all your swimming conditions thanks to our exclusive partnership with these towns and lifeguards from each of these swimming areas. Are there jellyfish or not in the West Var?

Thanks to reports from readers of Frequence-sud.fr and to the updates from the lifeguards of these beaches, it is possible to have this precise map of the beaches affected by the presence of jellyfish and those where you can swim safely because they are absent there. Every day in summer, this information is relayed from the lifeguard stations of the West Var.

During fire-risk days, some beaches may be closed to access, in particular in St Cyr and Six Fours

Some beaches are only accessible via the coastal path, and sometimes that one passes through areas that can be closed during fire-risk days. The first map of the beach weather automatically includes these beaches or exceptional coves closed during red days.

This is particularly the case of the coastal path between St Cyr / La Madrague and Bandol, then from Cap Sicié starting from Le Brusc.

Note that the Calanque de Port d'Alon has a special status: in the event of a very severe fire-risk day, the paths are closed starting from the calanque, but it remains allowed to come to Port d'Alon, only on the car park and the beach. During extreme fire-risk days, all access to the calanque is prohibited.
